Un-surprise yourself
Our brain is the most used and yet hugely underutilized organ. We talk a lot about being mentally tough. Being mentally tough and pretending to be mentally tough are two completely different things and must not be confused with each other. The word tough is also being perceived differently in different shapes sizes and forms. For example : Crying or screaming is something that would not be associated with toughness. Which is a valid perception but a misconception too. Being strong does not mean that you have to contain your emotions at all times. Similarly someone who tries to hold his emotions at all times may appear strong but may have been vulnerable to strong current of emotions. The challenging times that we live in require us to keep an eye on self talk. It has to be honest positive and polite.
